Medical Disclaimer for Glyco Harmony Pages
Glyco Harmony is a dietary supplement, not a medicine, and nothing on this website is medical advice. The pages explain the label and public research so you can talk to your doctor with better questions. Keep taking prescribed medicine; never stop or change it because of a supplement. For fainting, a seizure or confusion that will not clear, call 911.

01The short version
Why is information about Glyco Harmony not medical advice?
Because a website cannot examine you. Our pages describe one supplement and the studies on its ingredients. They do not know your readings, your history or the medicines in your cabinet.
Use the pages to prepare. Bring your questions, the label and your glucose log to a doctor, nurse or pharmacist who knows you. They can weigh what a product might add to your current care.
The bottle itself says the same thing in its own words. Its FDA statement reads: "These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease."
02Label words
What do the health words on the Glyco Harmony label mean?
Each line on the bottle has a legal meaning. None of them says the drops treat a disease.
| Label line | What it means |
|---|---|
| "Dietary Supplement" | Sold as a food-type product. FDA does not approve supplements for safety or effect before sale (FDA, Using Dietary Supplements). |
| "Blood Sugar Support*" | A structure or function phrase. The asterisk points to the FDA statement. |
| The FDA statement | FDA has not reviewed the claim, and the product is not meant to treat any disease. |
| "Manufactured in an FDA registered facility" | The plant is listed with FDA. It is not an FDA review of the drops. |
| The caution line | Pregnant or nursing mothers, anyone under 18 and anyone with a known medical condition should ask a physician first. |
A product marketed as a diabetes treatment would be making a drug claim. FDA has warned sellers who market supplements that way (FDA, Illegally Sold Diabetes Treatments). Read every line in context on the label explained page.

03Your medicines
Should you change a diabetes medicine because of a supplement?
No. Medicine changes belong with the person who prescribed them.
Keep taking prescribed medicine; never stop or change it because of a supplement, an ad or a story online. Stopping insulin or another diabetes drug can push blood sugar dangerously high.
Health groups agree on this. The NCCIH says there is no reliable evidence that any herbal supplement controls diabetes, and that supplements should not replace medical care (NCCIH, Diabetes and Dietary Supplements). The ADA says it finds no supplement shown to lower glucose in people without a deficiency, and warns that some can cause lows next to diabetes drugs (ADA, Vitamins & Supplements).
That second point matters here. Chromium, Panax ginseng and gymnema are all in Glyco Harmony. Each may add to the effect of insulin or other diabetes drugs (NIH ODS, Chromium) (NCCIH, Asian Ginseng) (Drugs.com, Gymnema monograph). Ask your doctor whether to check your levels more often if you start. The guide on diabetes medicine and supplements goes further.
04Emergencies
When is a blood sugar problem an emergency?
Low blood sugar can turn serious fast, especially for people on insulin or a sulfonylurea.
Signs of a low
- Shaking, sweating or sudden hunger
- Dizziness or a fast heartbeat
- Confusion or trouble thinking
- Under 70 mg/dL on a meter, for many people with diabetes
What to do
- Take 15 to 20 grams of fast carbohydrate
- Recheck in 15 minutes and repeat if still low
- Follow the plan your care team gave you
- Call 911 for fainting, a seizure or someone who cannot safely swallow
These steps come from the NIDDK (NIDDK, Low Blood Glucose). Signs of high blood sugar, such as strong thirst, frequent urination and blurry vision, are listed by the CDC (CDC, Symptoms of Diabetes). A website cannot help in an emergency. Call 911 first and read later.
05Before you start
Who should ask a doctor before taking Glyco Harmony?
Five questions. Any yes means a talk with your doctor or pharmacist first.
The label's own caution covers pregnant or nursing mothers, children under 18 and anyone with a known medical condition. Our safety page lists the drug interactions ingredient by ingredient.
06Research limits
Why can't the studies we cite promise you a result?
The research tested single ingredients, mostly at much larger amounts, in other people.
Not this product
No published trial has tested Glyco Harmony itself. Studies looked at single ingredients.
Different doses
Chromium studies used about 200 to 1,000 mcg a day. One dropper lists 0.7 mcg (NIH ODS, Chromium).
Different people
Results vary with age, weight, food, sleep, activity and medicines. Averages do not predict one person.
When we describe a study, we report what it found in the people it tested. That is not a forecast for you. The claims vs evidence page sets each ad claim beside the research.
07Medical review
Is the health content checked by a medical reviewer?
Not yet. A medical reviewer slot is set up on every page, but no reviewer has been named. We will not print a name or credential until a real, dated review takes place. Until then, the research desk writes from the label and from public sources such as the NIH, CDC, FDA and NCCIH, each linked in the text.
Reading these pages, emailing the website inbox or ordering through our links does not create a doctor and patient relationship. We cannot answer personal medical questions by email.
08Other cautions
What other cautions apply to the drops?
- Caffeine. Guarana and green tea both carry caffeine, and the label gives no amount (MSKCC, Guarana). If caffeine affects your sleep, heart rhythm or blood pressure, ask first.
- Dogs. The base contains xylitol, which can cause a sudden, dangerous drop in a dog's blood sugar (FDA, Paws Off Xylitol). Keep the bottle out of reach.
- Dose. The label says not to exceed 1 or 2 droppers a day. Taking more does not make it safer or stronger.

09FAQ
Health questions before you try Glyco Harmony
Can Glyco Harmony take the place of my diabetes medicine?
No. It is a dietary supplement, not a treatment for diabetes. No supplement has been shown to stand in for prescribed care. Keep every dose your doctor set, and ask before adding the drops, since some ingredients may add to diabetes drugs.
Should I tell my doctor I take Glyco Harmony drops?
Yes. Bring the bottle or a photo of the label to your next visit. Your doctor or pharmacist can check the 23 ingredient lines against your medicines, including chromium, ginseng, gymnema, grapefruit and licorice, which can interact with some drugs.
What should I do if my blood sugar drops too low?
Take 15 to 20 grams of fast carbohydrate, such as juice or glucose tablets, then recheck in 15 minutes and repeat if needed. Follow your care team's plan. Call 911 for fainting, a seizure or someone who cannot safely swallow.
Does reading this site create a doctor-patient relationship?
No. The pages are general information about a supplement and the public research on its ingredients. Emailing us or ordering through our links does not make us your clinician. Personal health questions belong with a doctor, nurse or pharmacist who knows you.
Can pregnant women take Glyco Harmony?
Only after asking a physician, as the label says. The drops contain caffeine from guarana and green tea, and safety in pregnancy is unclear for several herbs in the blend, including maca. A doctor or midwife can weigh the risks for you.
Can a teenager use Glyco Harmony?
The label asks anyone under 18 to consult a physician before using it. The blend includes caffeine sources and herbs that have not been studied in teens. A pediatrician is the right person to ask about blood sugar concerns at that age.
Why does the Glyco Harmony label carry an FDA statement?
It goes with the structure or function claim on the front, Blood Sugar Support, which is why that phrase ends in an asterisk. The statement says FDA has not evaluated the claim and that the product is not meant to diagnose, treat or prevent disease.
